~ This workshop offers students and travelers a general introduction to Brazilian Culture and the Atlantic Forest
Ecosystem through several on-site presentations, activities and visits during a week long stay in Praia do Forte,
Bahia, Brazil
~ Participants will become acclimatized to Brazil—home to one of the most fascinating cultures and natural environments
in the world, by immersing themselves in one of the most spectacular, charming and safe destinations in Brazil today
~ The small fishing town of Praia do Forte, 50 km. north of Salvador’s International Airport, combines a fascinating
colonial heritage with rich cultural traditions, 8 miles of pristine beaches and the stunning Atlantic Forest
ecosystem
~ The workshop also serves as a practical introduction to Brazil for those interested in visiting, traveling
or living in the country

WEATHER
Expect temperatures between 70 to 90 degrees, sunny days to go to the beach and also some rainy days
DRESS RECOMMENDATIONS
Bring light clothes for tropical weather, good walking-trekking shoes, hat or cap, poncho or light rain jacket
